So I’ll be adding these 2, well, 3 things soon:
First, for the length of the current annual catalog, I will be
making video tutorials for various products in the catalog. When you purchase specific products from me,
I’ll email you a link to a private YouTube video where I’ll share what I’ve
learned from using the product myself.
If you look back to my videos about the Hydrangea Hill DSP and suite,
and also the Sand and Sea suite—that’s the kind of video I’m thinking of making,
with lots of samples, and I’ll create with the product in the video, too, much
like I do in my weekly public videos. I’ll
share other ideas I might have as well—I often have more ideas than I do time. You’ll know which stamp sets, punches, and
other products I have video tutorials for by visiting my personal website,
NorthStarStamper.com. If you visit my
Stampin’ Up! sponsored site at NorthStarStamper.StampinUp.net, look under My
Projects to see which products I have tutorials for. I’ll also
let you know through my newsletter, so be sure you’re getting that.
I’ll be starting with the Expressions in Ink Suite (pages
96-97, Artistically Inked stamp set $24), the You’re a Peach Suite (pages
60-61, Sweet as a Peach stamp set $18), the Celebrate with Flowers stamp set
(page 62, $18) and the Soft Pastels (on page 126, $9). I’ll be highlighting the Celebrate with
Flowers stamp set as a great starter kit addition.
Which leads me into the second thing I’ll be adding to my
business: A demo-only stamping
group. You may have noticed I’ve been
asking you to join SU a lot
lately. I am trying to work my
way up within SU and at the next level I’ll receive more training, more timely
information, and be considered a leader within SU—that means I’ll be able to better
support you—as a demonstrator or as a customer. The more I know, the more I’ll be able to
share with you! I love being a SU
demonstrator. I honestly wish I had
joined years before I did.
I had been afraid that the joy of stamping would be taken over
by the business side of things. I have
not let that happen and I still get sad when I hear demos say—if I can’t sell
it, then I won’t use it. I have and use
stamp sets that are 20 years old and older.
I recently used a few on my husband, Tony’s retirement cards. See my blog for photos!
If you’re not a demo YET, this month SU is offering an extra
$30 of product in your starter kit. So,
for $99, you’ll get $155 worth of products of YOUR choice, along with business
supplies like catalogs and order forms, and the shipping is free. Let me know if you need help deciding what to
add to your kit. I have lots of ideas.
Why join my team?! On
top of the 20% or more discount you get on every purchase, my team has monthly
team meetings that are virtual and we stamp together at every meeting; my team does product shares so you’ll get
some sales and a sampling of products. We recently did DSP and ribbon shares. And as a Life Coach, I’ll be able to help you
meet your goals—even if, maybe Especially IF your goal is to remain an active
demo. So this new group that I’m
forming will be available to you, too.
Come see what it’s all about—I love sharing SU with other stampers!
Finally, if you’re not interested in becoming a demo and want
to stamp with others, let me know and we’ll put together a stamping event just for
you, your friends and your family. This
could be in person and I’ll join you if you live in the Twin Cities or
virtually. With the Kits Collection becoming available in June there will be
some fun alternatives. See pages 8 and 9
of the annual catalog. I’ll share more
about this next week.
OK—enough talking—let’s get busy stamping!
==============================================================
There is a FB group, where we can share ALL of our Stampin' Up! projects, using current and retired products. It’s called: Stampin' Up! ONLY Showcase.
The Celebrate with Flowers stamp set has lots of possibilities! The solid style stamps lend themselves to a variety of techniques. The inclusion of images and sentiments makes it versatile. This is a great set if you're just getting started with stamping.
