I've been creating Christmas cards to sell at a craft fair in October. Here's an easy one!
You can still get 2 cards from one 8-1/2" X 11" piece of cardstock, you just score first then cut.
Score the 8-1/2" side at 4-1/4". Score the 11" side at 5-1/2". Then cut on the diagonal from corner to corner. Because the diagonal is almost 14", I had to be careful when cutting so as not to damage the corner in my trimmer. A long ruler and a cutting blade would be easiest, if you have them in your crafting supplies. I do not, so I used an older Stampin' Up! trimmer to cut mine.
I added a layer of Designer Series Paper (DSP), that was 3-3/4" X 5", also cut on the diagonal. Add a sentiment with embellishments and you're done!
For this card, I used the Boughs of Holly DSP found in the July-December 2022 mini catalog. The sentiment/focal point was stamped and punched using the Handmade Wished Bundle (stamp set and punch) also in the July-December 2022 mini catlog. I layered that on a die cut circle and added gold metallic twine between the layers.
Let the DSP do the work for you!
Happy Stampin'!
LOVE IT!! Thank you! 🥰
