I used some non-Christmas stamps this month to create wreaths for my cards. I'll save my favorite one for last.
I used what I think of as a background stamp in the Artistically Inked stamp set to create my wreath here in Garden Green ink. (It's in the top right in this image of the stamp set.) In packaging retired products for a craft fair next week, I came across some 6"X 6" pre-embossed white sheets. This first one had dots on it. I stamped the background image in a ring and then wiped the excess ink off the embossed images. If you don't have a pre-embossed sheet, you could emboss one yourself using a small stamp or a background stamp with Versamark ink and clear embossing powder.
This bow is from the now-retired Wreath Builder dies cut in Real Red cardstock. The gems on the wreath are Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels. The finishing touches were the Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels on either side of the sentiment. The sentiment is from the now-retired Light & Peace stamp set. It is embossed using gold embossing powder, but it doesn't photograph very well. For this bow, I really thought outside the box! It is actually the sign hanger in the Warm Welcome dies! I die cut it twice and layered them to create the box. I didn't have any of our current bow dies. I used the same Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels and Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels as on my first card.
I challenge you to make a wreath using any greenery stamp you have! Happy Stampin'!
