Here are all the projects I've made with my Daisy Kit. I'll keep adding to this post as I create more.
These first 3 cards and my wall hanging you may have seen in my blog post about the kit. I just wanted all my samples in one place, so I'm repeating them here.
Project: Slimline
Colors: Tea Party
Element: Word
Random: Hand-Drawn Line(s)
I chose to make a slimline home decor project instead of a card. The wooden hanger came from a dollar store. I swapped out the jute hanger for a piece of lace in keeping with the tea party theme.
This time I left the dies in my kit white. I used the inside piece from the leaves on the top right to add interest to my leaves on the lower left.
Here are a few more new cards. I showed these on my video on May 29, 2023. This next card, a Z-fold card with a Pebbled Path DSP layer, was made during that video. I used a Blending Brush to add color to the detailed layer of the flowers. You could you any color you have; I used Moody Mauve.
The bow was a 12" piece of Pebbled Path jute that I separated into 3 strands. For my bow, I used 2 strands, and adhered it with a glue dot.
I wanted to include at least one card that didn't feature daisies. Here I used the Season of Chic stamp set and Chic dies to create my leaves in Pebbled Path and Wild Wheat.
I still have not decided if I want to add anything to this next card. I like the Pretty Peacock layer with the DSP.
Here the small piece was put at the top and was a great place for my sentiment.
And finally (for now), I have a fun fold for you!
This pocket is a fun way to show both sides of the DSP. The insert that fits in the pocket is laying down in front.
Here is a demonstration on how you can make either a sleeve or pocket out of DSP.
If you prefer written directions for your pocket.
I have been using the 1/2" X 4" pieces that are cut off to make the pocket, on my insert. It's the Wild Wheat 1/2" strip on the photo above.
Stampin' Up! offers a Designer Series Paper sale quite often. Lately it has been annually. This is a fun way to show both sides of your pretty papers!
