Today is my son's 26th birthday. We celebrated it last weekend, so I can share the card I made him. Andrew loves animals, so I often include them in his cards.
I've been working with the A Walk in the Forest Designer Series Paper lately and those bears are kinda cute. I did fussy cut 2 of them for his card. I also don't have the Merriest Trees stamp set, so I actually created my own evergreen with a Pretty Peacock marker on Garden Green cardstock. It did take a few tries to get it just right, but I'm quite pleased.
My colors are Pecan Pie and Garden Green, and I used Stylish Shapes for the circle behind the bear inside that holds up the easel. That Happy Birthday stamp is in the Artistically Inked stamp set.
Do you take photos of your projects very often? Sometimes seeing a photo makes me think a card needs something more. That's the case with this one--maybe it needs some Linen Thread? I tend not to use bling on cards for the men in life, but Rustic Metallic Dots might work.
