Birthday Cards for July 2024

 Thank you, Dianne, for reminding me that today is the 17th, and I hadn't posted this month's birthday card(s) yet!  These were the cards Dianne created during her 1-on-1 class using her new mini Cut & Emboss machine.

While we used retired card bases, the Designer Series Paper that coordinates with them (and used on the second card) is the returning Bright & Beautiful paper which you'll find on pages 96-97 in the current annual catalog.  We also used retired embossing folders with her machine.

We were focusing on using the machine to die cut and emboss, so the stamping is minimal.  We used the Stylish Shapes dies for these circles.  The stamp sets used for this card were Cake Fancy (sentiment) and Country Birdhouse (both flower stamps).

This card is based on card sketch #6 that you'll find on page 22 in the annual catalog.  The sentiment can be found in the Simply Said stamp set.  We used one of the medium circles from Spotlight on Nature dies.  The largest circles in that die set are too big to fit in the mini machine.
