July Christmas Card(s)

New Christmas products are coming soon!  While there are some in the Online Exclusives category already, we have the September - December mini catalog coming.  Demonstrators got to see it yesterday.  It has so many options for our Christmas crafting.

Here's my card this month.  I used a new bundle, Frosted Forest again; it's available to you now.  You might see this bundle again because it is so versatile.  I imagine making sympathy cards and fall projects with it, too.

Other products I used are Mossy Meadow cardstock and ink, the More Wishes stamp set, and the Nests of Winter Designer Series Paper that will be in the September - December mini catalog.  I didn't have any current white glimmer paper, so I used some retired silver glimmer paper to die cut the evergreen tree details.

Can you see the bare trees to the left of the evergreen?  I used a die in the Frosted Forest die set.  You might also miss the Wink of Stella I added to the white 'snow' and those bare trees.

Fussy cutting the sentiment took a minute or two, but this might be one of my family Christmas cards because it came together quickly.

My card was inspired by this swap I received from Candace Johnson.  She didn't share what products she used, but I assume she used the white glimmer paper that comes in a pack with Berry Burst and Old Olive.  The DSP she used on the sides can be found in the Iconic Celebrations 6x6 DSP pack.

Also, this is a fun fold card.  The white panel opens at the bottom.  That white panel is 4" X 3-1/2", so she used a piece of white cardstock that is 4" X 7", folded in half to create the card opening.

Oh!  Can you see she embossed the panel behind the tree?!  She used the Snowflake Sky 3D embossing folder.  It adds so much texture and is the perfect finishing touch to her card.

Until August!  Happy Stampin'!
