6"X6" One Sheet Wonder (OSW) with 1" Squares

This is the cutting pattern I used in my August 12, 2024 video.  I love this layout!  It is so versatile as you'll see in all my samples.  I need to remember this one for future use!

My August 12, 2024 video from YouTube

These were created during the video.  I liked the look of the pattern across the 3 panels, so I didn't flip over any of the 2-1/4" pieces.  My layer is Petunia Pop and the card base is Summer Splash.

The fun thing about the Unbounded Beauty Designer Series Paper is that it includes all 5 of the 2024-2025 In Colors!  Which are Petunia Pop, Peach Pie, Summer Splash, Shy Shamrock and (returning from retirement!)  Pretty in Pink!

Do you know or remember where I punched the Summer Splash Heartfelt Hexagon from?!  Yes, the layer on my card.  No need to find a scrap of cardstock!

The stamps can be found in the Heartfelt Hexagon stamp set.  I used Berry Burst and Summer Splash ink to stamp.

I took suggestions for my 1-1/4" square layers for this card.  Using black squares instead of Pretty in Pink ones was unanimous!  I wish I had stamped the leaf image from the Friends for Life stamp set a little higher.  I should have planned ahead better---next time!  Or you can on your card.

Here are the cards made with the Full of Life DSP.  This was reason I made my vellum cutting guide.  I wanted to decide which section of the DSP would be best for the 3-3/4"X 5" piece.

The Happy Birthday die and shadow can be found in the Wanted to Say dies.  The Friend die and shadow are in the Friends for Life dies.

Here are the cards I show in my video.

This is one pattern that would be lost if you cut it down to 1" squares.

I used the Wild Wheat layer for punching the leaves with the Bough Punch before I adhere the patterned paper to it.  Only we know--ssshhhhh!

Use those scraps of twine, too!

Here's just a random card I made with 1" squares.  I wanted to use Summer Splash with black and white.  The DSP is retired, but you may have some in your stash, too!

These next cards also use the retired DSP, Let's Go Fishing, but the stamp set, Gone Fishing (and coordinating dies) are still available.

Here I wanted to make more cards, so I only used 3 of the 1" squares on each card.  There are endless ways to use those little pieces!

And finally, I used scraps of the Thoughtful Journey DSP to make these.  Selecting the color for my cardstock from the patterned paper made creating these a breeze!  For this one, I adhered the 1" squares to the Mossy Meadow cardstock panel.  Then I embossed the panel with the Cane Weave 3D embossing folder.

Can you see that I stamped on the Mossy Meadow layer before I adhered the 1" squares?  Then I used the same stamps and ink on the inside of my card and on the envelope.

I hope I've given you enough ideas to get you started.

Happy Stampin'!
