Decorative Trees Bundle!

 When I make this many projects within a week using the same bundle, I KNOW Stampin' Up! has created a 'keeper'!  I have more ideas, so watch for my September Christmas card to feature this bundle as well.

You'll find this bundle on page 42 of the September - December 2024 mini catalog.  The dies are what sold me on this bundle.  All those detailed decorative was to trim the tree!  

The tree is 3-1/4" tall and 2-1/4" wide, so a single tree looks good on a card, and it still fits on a larger tag.  When die cutting the details for your tree, don't forget to use an Adhesive Sheet!!  Save yourself a headache and an adhesive mess!  

For several of these cards, I used a retired product, Distressed Gold Specialty Paper.  I believe you'll be able to substitute the Gold Mercury Vellum if you don't already have something in your stash to use.

This was my CASE-d (Copy And Share Everything) card from my September 2, 2024 video.  It's my favorite card (so far) so I'll start with it.  Photos don't do glimmer paper justice!

I used the Craft White ink for the stars.  No heat embossing necessary to get this subtle effect.

Looking a photos of this card, reminded me of the Christmas tree punches we've carried in years past.  I'd like to try die cutting the tree and using the negative to highlight the tree shape.  I'll create a card an include it soon.

As I explain or confess in my card description, I haven't used this DSP enough to have this many scraps, yet!  I did cut strips of DSP, but it's a great use of scraps (when you have them)!

I love the rustic feel of this card.  I used the Country Woods DSP for my card layer.

The words on the "A very merry Christmas" stamp are set far enough apart that I had no trouble inking only the Merry Christmas on the edge of my ink pad.
