Birthday Card(s) for February 2025

How many months have I been posting birthday cards on the 17th each month?  I recently realized that I could be working smarter, not harder by sharing the birthday cards I made for family from the previous month!  That is exactly what I'm doing today.

My mom, my mother-in-law, and 4 other family members all have February birthdays, so I'm sharing some of the cards I made for them.

When editing the photos of these first 2 cards, I realized that I used products from the same suite for both cards.  The Wildflower Birthday suite.  You'll find it on pages 42-45 in the January - April 2025 mini catalog.  Notice how different they look!?  It's all about the colors.

This was my mother-in-law's card.  I don't think she'd care that you know how old she is.  LOL

I used Real Red, Lemon Lime Twist and Daffodil Delight cardstock.  The green ink is Granny Apple Green.  Can you see the embossing on the Real Red panels?  I used the So Swirly embossing folder to add texture.

Our niece, Abby, hosted a party for my mother-in-law.  I covered candy bars and we played bingo for them.  Abby had other games, too, like "Guess Nana's Age" (in 20 or so photos) and Name the Title of the Elvis Song.  It was a fun afternoon!

You guessed it--I used scraps for my balloons!

This was my mom's birthday card.  It's a spanner card and I used the die cuts from the Wildflower Birthday Designer Series Paper.  For added texture I embossed the Peach Pie 'bridge' with the Fern 3D embossing folder.  The 2024-2026 In Color Shimmer Gems matched perfectly!

Here's a quick video of how this card opens.  Sorry for the dark images;  I don't know how to lighten it.

And finally, this is the card I sent my brother-in-law.  It's a modified z-fold.  I used the new Everyday Happiness Designer Series Paper (part of our Memory Keeping line) with the With you in Mind stamp set from the January - April 2025 mini catalog.

Happy Stampin'!
