I have had a request to show more sympathy cards, so my post on the 10th each month will be featuring those more often. For today, I used the recently retired Regal Winter Designer Series Paper (DSP) along with the Perennial Postage dies and a brand new item, the Hole Punch Assortment. These 3 little punches will be new Online Exclusives in March. As a demonstrator, I was able to pre-order them last week.
It's actually a little ironic that I paired these punches with the Perennial Postage Dies, because the die set includes little dies to create holes to make tags.
I created my 2 cards, by selecting 2 patterns that I could interchange. I had even more options than the 3 I show here. I had a 4th option; the back side of the color-wash piece in front is another Blackberry Bliss print with tiny flowers.
The color-wash print is in Bloom Impressions, a Sale-a-bration 2025 option. The other 2 were in the now retired Regal Winter DSP.
To create my 2 cards, I cut the DSP to 3-3/4" X 5". Layered them and cut them together using 2 Perennial Postage dies. Then I swapped the cut shapes for each card. It's another version of the 'stack, cut and shuffle' technique.
I finished off this card with the Blackberry Bliss & Gold 1/2" Textured Ribbon. It's currently (as of 2/10/25) on the Last Chance list and is on sale!
For the little tag in this card, I found the 'to you' stamp in the Day to Celebrate stamp set, another Sale-a-bration 2025 option. I wanted to keep my tags small so as to not cover up much of the beautiful DSP! That's linen thread on the tag.
Happy Stampin'!
