I figure anyone over the age of 20 already has a way to keep track of birthdays and anniversaries they want to celebrate. I know I do. I have increased mine to a box where I store all the cards I want to send and have a card for each month to keep track of the dates.
But, I wanted to see what this kit was all about, so...
Here's the kit:
Other ideas for the calendar I thought of include:
And here are circles cut with Spotlight on Nature dies.
More stickers! (There are a lot of them in the kit!) Would you add a sentiment or leave it as is? Leave a comment and let me know what you think.
- Day of firsts for newlyweds (first dinner party, first holiday, first vacation)
- Day of firsts for a student: for a preschooler, kindergartener, college student
- Gardening journal
- Day of firsts for a newborn
- Day of firsts for a new pet
- House projects and major purchases for your home
What other ideas do you have? Leave a comment and let's work together to add to my list.
These are my favorite sort of projects because I get to pull out any and all products that coordinate then let my creativity take over!
Since I am decorating my calendar with stamps and not the stickers from the kit, I used the stickers to create a few cards. I used the same colors in the kit: Basic Black, Crumb Cake, Garden Green, Lost Lagoon, Misty Moonlight, and Pretty Peacock.
Here I used the Linked Together Decorative Masks and the soon to be retired Close to My Heart Floral Sprig Stencils.
I like the Birch Wood 3D embossing folder for nature-themed projects. The rectangles were die cut with the Perennial Postage dies.
I added ink with a blending brush to the Garden Green piece that was embossed using the Fern 3D folder.
Just lots of stickers to make a frame on this one. The dies in the middle and the stamp can be found in the Unbounded Love bundle.
I found a piece of Lost Lagoon cardstock with the circle already die cut, so I used it as a window-type element on this card. Again, I'll probably add a sentiment to the lower left corner before I send this card.
Thanks for taking a look at my projects! I enjoyed creating them, and I hope they inspire you to try something new next time you create.
