I saw this card sketch and had so many ideas for it! The circle element could be a large flower, general shape like an oval, or any other focal point you want.
I chose to use a new embossing folder to add interest to my card. Introducing the Sunrise Sailing bundle! I would have used patterned paper for one of the 3 sections, but I opted for a cleaner look with just cardstock.
I used brand new Stampin' Up! products that will be available on May 6, 2025. It's called Sunrise Sailing, and the bundle includes the stamp set, hybrid embossing folder and the dies.
A hybrid embossing folder has an element that can be cut and embossed with a die in one pass. In this case, the large sailboat is embossed and cut out if you put the die inside your embossing folder. I love the bright crisp feel of the stripes on the sailboat. Those were stamped after I embossed/die cut the sailboat. I haven't used all of the dies yet, but I'm thinking those wave/water dies will add a lot of interest to my projects. I can also imagine all those cute little sailboats in a variety of bright colors.
